"JOHN MITCHELL" at LINDENAU's outfitting quayJohn Mitchell

The almost 100m long „JOHN MITCHELL“, belonging to a Hamburg ship-owner, was placed at LINDENAU’s outfitting quay to have its anchor repaired. On one of „JOHN MITCHELL’S“ journeys the fluke was ripped off.

The LINDENAU repair team started preparing themselves to replace the anchor while a replacement anchor was sent on its way to the LINDENAU shipyard.

The anchor shaft was removed and the new anchor was fitted. The LINDENAU team completed the repair works within 3 hours.

The time at the outfitting quay was also used to install a motor protection relay and to dispose of garbage.

After a short while the “JOHN MITCHELL” was able to continue its journey.
