Paddle-wheel steamer "FREYA" at the LINDENAU Shipyard for repairs
 A longstanding and very good client of the LINDENAU shipyard has once again brought in one of its ships to dock at LINDENAU dock II. This time it is the steamboat “FREYA” which will be at the yard for approximately four days.The ship is a paddle-wheel steamer which was built in 1905. It is almost 52m long, 11.4m wide, has a draft of 2.2m and can accommodate around 250 passengers. The ship has come to the yard to be washed and to receive an antifouling coating. In addition, work has been done on the rudder post and some general welding works were completed. The repair works were done in compliance with environmental regulations. << News ...  |
