LINDENAU to complete the floating dock S279

After final clearance and clarification with the Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the Ministry of Defense, represented by the Federal Office of Defense Technology and Procurement in Koblenz, the LINDENAU shipyard received an assignment to continue with the design, building and delivery of a floating dock, class 714/02.

The contract was signed by both parties at the beginning of the week.

The floating dock lies in the navy arsenal in Kiel and is needed for the docking of all kinds of ship units.

The floating dock is contributing to the utilization of the shipyards outfitting department and Kiel as a navy base location is further strengthened with this assignment.
